Ungi Attila nem csupán fest, hanem világokat hív életre. Gyermekkorától fogva vonzódik a formák és színek titkos rendjéhez, ahhoz a láthatatlan világhoz, ahol a képzelet és a valóság határai elmosódnak.
A kézi vésnökség és az ötvösség mestersége korán megtanította a részletek iránti fegyelemre és a formák belső arányainak tiszteletére. Ez az ősi kézműves tapasztalat ma is ott él minden ecsetvonásában.
Alkotásai nem a külső világot ábrázolják, hanem a tudatalatti mélyrétegeiből fakadó érzelmeket és látomásokat vetítik vászonra. Művészete a belső világ feltérképezése – a forma és a szín nyelve, ahol maga a lélek szólal meg.
Munkásságában a szürrealizmus álomszerű sodrása és a kubizmus szerkezeti rendje találkozik. Vásznain a káosz és a rend, az ösztön és a tudat folyamatos párbeszédet folytatnak egymással. Az absztrakció számára nem elvonatkoztatás, hanem kinyilatkoztatás: az emberi létezés rejtett, szimbolikus tartományainak feltárása.
E folyamatból bontakozott ki saját művészi univerzuma, az „absztrakt ateas silurica”– egy új vizuális nyelv, amelyben a természet ősi rétegei, a kollektív tudattalan és a személyes érzékenység eggyé olvadnak.
Ahogyan a művész vallja:

Attila Ungi does not merely paint — he brings entire worlds to life. From childhood, he has been drawn to the secret order of forms and colors, to that invisible realm where the boundaries between imagination and reality dissolve.
His early craft as an engraver and goldsmith taught him discipline in detail and respect for the inner harmony of form. This ancient artisanal experience continues to live in every brushstroke he makes.
His paintings do not depict the external world; they project onto canvas the emotions and visions that emerge from the deeper layers of the subconscious. His art is a mapping of the inner world — a language of form and color through which the soul itself speaks.
In his work, the dreamlike current of Surrealism meets the structural order of Cubism. On his canvases, chaos and order, instinct and consciousness engage in a constant dialogue. For him, abstraction is not detachment, but revelation — the unveiling of the hidden, symbolic dimensions of human existence.
From this process, his own artistic universe has emerged: “Abstract ATEAS Silurica,” It is a new visual language in which the ancient layers of nature, the collective unconscious, and personal sensitivity merge into one.
As the artist himself declares:
